About the program
Our New Analyst Program is a full-time program for final year undergraduate and graduate students. As a new analyst, you will learn about our businesses, develop important relationships, and build career-enhancing skills.
As a participant, you will:
• Learn about the firm and how we do business
• Gain the skills and knowledge necessary to support our businesses
• Have unlimited access to the training and guidance to help you prepare for the next level
• Build your professional network and interact with colleagues across the firm Submitting Your Application
• Each applicant has the opportunity to apply to up to 4 separate business / location combinations in any given recruiting year. Any additional application will be auto withdrawn. In order to apply to an additional opportunity, you must withdraw a current application that has not been turned down.
• A single applicant should not create multiple email addresses to apply to additional opportunities

Legal plays an essential role in the formulation and implementation of the strategy of Goldman Sachs.
The advice and counsel we provide to all areas of the firm is critical to maintaining our commitments to our clients, regulators, and shareholders and to promoting our culture of excellence and integrity. Our goal is to provide legal advice that protects the firm's financial well-being and reputation and assists our various businesses in evaluating the risks associated with completing transactions and other activities.
Our dynamic 9-week Summer Analyst Program exclusively offered in Dallas for the Americas and Birmingham for the UK within the Legal Division, provides an unparalleled opportunity to be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of our Legal Division. Upon successful completion of the Summer Analyst program, interns may receive offers to return to Legal as a full-time Analysts in our uniquely structured two-year Analyst program.
Throughout their two years with the firm, Legal Program Analysts, also exclusively based in Dallas for the Americas and Birmingham for the UK within the Legal Division, gain an in-depth understanding of what it means to be part of in-house counsel at Goldman Sachs. The program is geared toward students who may be interested in pursuing law school, providing them with two years of full-time work experience to enhance their candidacy for JD programs. For those who decide not to pursue law school at the conclusion of two years, Analysts will have gained valuable experience and expanded their professional network which is meaningful as they pursue other opportunities within or outside of Goldman Sachs.
